The Singapore Symphony Orchestra invites applications from outstanding musicians for the following positions:
PRINCIPAL AND ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL SECOND VIOLIN
Salary and Benefits
Basic starting salaries:
Principal Second Violin: Approx. SGD 90,000 to SGD 125,000 p.a. (approx. USD 68,200 to USD 94,700 p.a.)
Associate Principal Second Violin: Approx. SGD 81,000 to SGD 113,000 p.a. (approx. USD 61,400 to USD 86,000) p.a.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and abilities.
- Low progressive personal income tax for a tax resident.
- 52 paid weeks a year, including 6 weeks of paid annual leave in addition to statutory holidays and other leave benefits.
- Medical, dental, work injury compensation, maintenance (instrument/attire) allowance, travel insurance and instrument insurance benefits.
- Additional allowance for eligible musicians moving to Singapore.
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents will receive monthly Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution based on prevailing contribution rate. Musicians on Work Passes will receive monthly fixed allowance in lieu of CPF contribution which is approximately SGD 16,000 per annum.
