Under the baton of Music Director Hans Graf, the SSO regularly performs at the world-renowned Esplanade Concert Hall and the Victoria Concert Hall, Home of the SSO, in Singapore.
The SSO invites applications from outstanding musicians for the following positions, where available.

The SSO currently performs at the world-renowned Esplanade Concert Hall and at its long-term home, the Victoria Concert Hall.
The SSO invites applications from outstanding musicians for the following position:
SECTION HORN
Salary and Benefits
- Basic starting salary: Approx SGD 65,000 to SGD90,500 p.a. (approx. USD 48,500 to USD 67,500) p.a.. Salary will be commensurate with experience and abilities.
- Low progressive personal income tax for a tax resident.
- 52 paid-weeks a year, including 6 weeks of paid annual leave in addition to statutory holidays and other leave benefits.
- Medical, dental, work injury compensation, travel insurance and instrument insurance benefits.
- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents will receive monthly Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution based on prevailing contribution rate. Musicians on Work Passes will receive monthly fixed allowance in lieu of CPF contribution which is approximately SGD 10,000 per annum.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a live audition on 18 August 2025.

The SSO invites applications from suitably experienced musicians who wish to be considered for freelance work with one of Asia’s premier orchestras.
Auditions will be held on 10 March 2025 for Strings, Woodwind, Brass.

The key responsibilities of this role are data analytics and audience research, optimizing CRM tools such as marketing automation to deepen audience engagement and facilitating data integration, as well as being a key member of the project team for future digital technology initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Integration and Analytics
- Manage vendors in the data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accurate and consistent data across all marketing systems.
- Help to oversee data hygiene by defining standards, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with external vendors to execute data cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Generate project-based reports using data analytics skills and qualitative research, to inform planning.
- Organise and interpret information from company sources of data such as ticketing and viewership data to identify relationships and linkages, and assess best technique for analysis.
- Select appropriate data visualisation techniques and develop dashboards to reflect data trends and findings.
- Manage relationship with research agency and oversee audience satisfaction surveys and reports.
Marketing Technology
- Identify opportunities and evaluate risks of integrating digital technology tools, systems and software across work processes and activities.
- Assist with the set-up, maintenance and optimisation of CRM tools for customer journey builder and marketing automation to deepen audience engagement, and facilitate data integration flowing between CRM and other customer-facing channels.
Project Management
- Project-manage future digital technology projects as assigned, including gathering business requirements and approaching vendors for requests for proposals.
- Facilitate coordination and present regular project updates across the company as required.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant coursework, certifications or experience in digital marketing, analytics, or data management will be preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM tools or marketing automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is a plus.
- Experience with Excel or other data analysis and visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management skills, good initiative and the ability to work under pressure.
- Resilient individual with positive energy and excellent writing and communication skills.
- Passion for classical music.
- Takes a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
- Able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends when needed.
