Damian Patti
Damian Patti currently holds the position of Associate Principal Trombone with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and has been a member since 2009.
He has played with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Tasmania Symphony Orchestra, Western Australia Symphony Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, Macau Symphony Orchestra, The Australian National Academy of Music and Sydney Sinfonia. He was also a member of the Australian Youth Orchestra from 2005-2007 and a member of the Orchestra on their 2007 European tour.
Patti is the Principal Trombone teacher at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore and has given masterclasses there and thoughout the south east asian region.
Patti holds a Bachelor of Music from the Victorian College of the Arts, a Post Graduate Diploma and a Masters of Music from the Melbourne Conservatory of Music. His principal teachers were Ken McClimont and Michael Bertoncello from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. Damian was awarded an Australian Post Graduate Award in 2008 to study Masters at the University of Melbourne.
