SSO Concert Update: VCHpresents Organ: Concerto de I’Adieu to be Cancelled
Singapore, 14 April 2023 – It is with great regret that the Singapore Symphony Orchestra announces the cancellation of VCHpresents Organ: Concerto de I’Adieu, on Saturday, 15 April at the Victoria Concert Hall.
re: mix Ensemble’s music director and violin soloist Foo Say Ming is indisposed and unable to perform. The SSO apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Led by Music Director and veteran Singapore Symphony violinist Foo Say Ming, the re: mix Ensemble and organist Koh Jia Hwei present a fascinating programme of music contemplating the tragedy and desolation of war. The highly under-rated English composer Herbert Howells is represented by his war-time Psalm Preludes for organ, while French film composer Georges Delerue is heard in his sorrowful account of the 1992 epic French war masterpiece, Diên Biên Phu.
