Legacy Giving

Make Music Your Lasting Legacy

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) holds a special place in our lives. Whether it is a fond recollection of SSO concerts with your family and friends, nostalgic memories of endless practice sessions, a musical career, or simply the enjoyment of symphonic music, your personal connection to our music and the arts could be the inspiration for ensuring the longevity of our national orchestra.

Legacy giving is a powerful and enduring commitment that solidifies your imprint on our community and the future of music. It continues to impact the causes closest to your heart and honours your vision and values beyond your lifetime. By making a legacy gift to the Singapore Symphony, you are widening the horizons of your national orchestra and bolstering our efforts in nurturing the next generation of aspiring musicians and choristers.

HOW YOU CAN LEAVE A LEGACY

Designate your legacy gift to an area that is close to your heart or let us harness it to meet the evolving needs and operational expenses of the Singapore Symphony. We invite you to speak with our team to better fulfil your gift intent for a more meaningful impact.

Here are three ways you can leave a legacy in support of the SSG Endowment Fund:

  • Gift of your CPF Monies
You may nominate SSG as a beneficiary of your CPF monies via the CPF nomination form. The nomination form and more information can be found at www.cpf.gov.sg.
  • Gift of your Insurance Policies
You may nominate SSG as the beneficiary of your insurance policies when it is no longer critical to you or your family’s financial security. You may also wish to purchase an insurance policy and name Singapore Symphonia Company Ltd as both the owner and the beneficiary.
  • Charitable Bequests
Charitable bequests through your will allow you the flexibility to leave SSG a specific sum of money, a percentage of your estate or what remains of your estate after you have provided for other beneficiaries.

You may wish to obtain independent legal assistance to ensure that your bequest is valid. Most importantly, you remain in complete control of the bequest process and can change any bequest.
