Synopsis

In view of the recent update provided by MOH and restrictions on the playing of wind and brass instruments, this concert will be cancelled. SSO will work with its ticketing partner SISTIC to update all ticketholders.

The Brass Ensemble of the SSO is back, live on stage with our Chief Conductor Hans Graf, to bring you on an intriguing exploration of brass music by four 20th century masters. Fanfares heralding mythical majesty and clarion courage frame a shimmering Japanese meditation in the rain and Hindemith’s challenging Op. 49 for brass, solo piano and two harps.
