Synopsis
2000 performances over 30 years and nearly 50 recordings later, the accomplished English violinist Tasmin Little retired from the stage in 2020. As part of her final international tour in the season, she visited in Singapore in February 2020, presenting her swan-song in the form of the beloved Bruch Violin Concerto. This concert conducted by veteran American conductor Gerard Schwarz was one of the final full live concerts by the SSO before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down halls.
This concert was supported by the Tote Board.
Recorded live at the Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore, on 13 February 2020.
