Flurry of the Flute (Online)

Synopsis

Expect a flurry of explosive whimsicality and enigmatic wit as Jin Ta, Principal Flute, Stephen Riady Chair, takes on the challenging 1934 Flute Concerto by eclectic French composer Jacques Ibert. The programme led by our Chief Conductor Hans Graf also features two masterpieces from the Germanic symphony canon: Haydn’s 95th - august and aristocratic, and Mendelssohn’s imposing First Symphony.
