Synopsis

Celebrate Singapore’s 53rd National Day in this all-Singaporean programme conducted by Darrell Ang, featuring six homegrown composers, from veteran pioneer Phoon Yew Tien, to rising names Wang Chen Wei and Syafiqah 'Adha Mohd Sallehin. Violinist Kam Ning is the soloist in Chen Zhangyi’s Vanda Concerto, while the choirs of the Singapore Symphony family join forces in Kelly Tang’s arrangement of the now classic “Home”.
