Synopsis
Singapore Symphony Principal Cello Ng Pei-Sian stars in Shostakovich’s supreme First Cello Concerto, a work of unrelenting edge-of-your-seat energy and awe-inspiring darkness. Join him and SSO Chief Conductor Hans Graf in this powerhouse programme that also includes Beethoven’s mighty “Heroic” Third Symphony.
