Synopsis

“Xavier de Maistre is a virtuoso of the highest order, profoundly musical and capable of realising a remarkable range of nuance.” (Gramophone). Xavier de Maistre’s command of the harp is as sure as his fervent championship of its music both old and new. The strength of his many transcriptions of keyboard staples ensures they sound as if they were reborn anew for the harp – be prepared to have your breath taken away in this solo recital.
